Yeah, Jackie.

I'll try and steer this site away from being a TV blog, but...

Even though the rest of the world had it last year, the Beeb, finally, appear to be rushing out all of season one of Nurse Jackie, with an episode every week night, so, if you have yet to tune in - as we once said - you need to get on that pretty pronto.

What I'm saying is, not only is NJ the best medical profession-based TV series since Cardiac Arrest (unless you count Paul Whitehouse's Help), but that terrestrial UK TV has its first best programme [US import category] of 2010.
At least until Mad Men season 3, and Glee season 1 start.

So, you're wondering how good can this show really be? From Wikipedia:

Christian Parent's Television Council, called Jackie "a filthy degenerate" and stating that any good shown in the character "only salves the conscience so the viewer can enjoy the evil parts," adding that "anything approaching the right moral course would completely ruin all the 'black comedy' fun Showtime is having.
Thumbs up then.
